You may not access the space earlier or stay later than your booking time slot.

Overtime Charges are applied (charged in 30-minute increments) anytime the space is accessed beyond the booking time slot.

Online bookings are for photography only. If you’re looking to rent the space for shooting video or for an event please send us an email at hello@thesunroomstudios.ca with your preferred dates and times

Your session starts and ends at the specified booking time slot. Please factor in any set up time or clean up time that you may require.

We are happy to provide you a credit of equal amount if you need to cancel or reschedule. We do not provide cash refunds. Any cancellation or rescheduling must occur 24 hours or more before the start time of your session to receive credit.

Parking is available on site at the side and back of the building. Additional parking can be found on the street and up the hill across from the Canada Post Office.

There is an elevator to bring equipment up that is shared with the rest of the building and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. The elevator is very slow, please be patient.

The fourth floor is shared with a private office, Ground2Air Media. You will have privacy in the studio space, but the front door and bathroom are shared. The Ground2Air Media door must remain closed at all times

Please bring all of your personal belongings into the studio. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items left in the common areas.

Please leave the studio as you found it.

Décor items and small furniture can be moved. A short list of the items that cannot be moved will be provided to you in our Studio Policies at the time of booking. Please ensure all moved items are returned to their original location before leaving.

Please leave outdoor shoes and any wet items at the entrance on the supplied coat rack and shoe tray. Clean/indoor shoes are permitted in the space but please no standing on the furniture.

Be mindful of noise levels as the building is a shared space.

No smoking, vaping or consumption of alcohol on the premises

No open flames. Please do not burn candles, sparklers, or use a smoke machine in our space.

Fur friends are welcome in the space but must be disclosed during booking.

$30 per pet will be added at the time of booking.

Please make sure that your pet’s paws are clean and that they remain off of furniture.

If your pet is a heavy shedder or makes a mess, please use the cleaning products provided in the basket in the entryway or find the broom (located behind the curtains in the corner of the studio) to clean up.

If your pet makes a large mess that you cannot clean, please email us immediately at hello@thesunroomstudios.ca. An additional cleaning fee will apply ($50 minimum)

If you make a mess, please clean it up to the best of your ability. Cleaning products are available in the basket at the front door and a broom is located behind the curtained area in the corner of the studio. A cleaning fee will be applied to your bill if the studio is left messy/dirty; $50 minimum.

Furniture and props need to be moved back to their original place before leaving.

Properly dispose of any garbage; please do not leave any open food or drinks.

A damage fee will apply if there are damages to the furniture/art/props, or any other studio equipment and complimentary items (including steamer, extension cords, etc.), during your booking. Minimum $50 but will be dependent on the extent of damage.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for your use in the studio.

In addition to the space being fully equipped with furniture and decor we also provide a clothing steamer so you can keep creases at bay during long shoots.

Please turn off and unplug the steamer before you leave for safety of all staff and other occupants.

Please return all complimentary use items in their original condition.

Please be aware of security cameras located within the studio space (faced away from the bathroom and change room). Footage will be reviewed only if necessary.

It is always the responsibility of the renters to ensure their own safety within the space. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or theft incurred to persons or property in the studio or common areas.
